Angels in Bunker Gear

Firefighter heavily loaded with gear
Rush to aide the injured, calming their fear
These gallant men with a quicken pace
Reassured the helpless with their gentle grace

The confused, the injured are led away from the fear
By the City's strongest and bravest donned in bunker gear
These modern day knights with efficient rate
Saved thousands of citizens from the terrible hate

How do we thank them? What do we say?
To these bravest of knights who gave all that day
343 brothers united forever that September day
Sadly, respectfully we bow our heads as we pray

"Dear God help us qualm our overwhelming fear,
And please keep in your grace these Angels in Bunker Gear."
