I'll always remember the fun I had growing up with Gerry. We did a lot of traveling
to colleges, the Jersey shore and around Rockland County. I attended his wedding
and met his lovely wife, Marie, but never had the pleasure of meeting his children.

Gerard T. Nevins, 46, of Campbell Hall, New York, a
New York City fireman since 1983, who was named firefighter of the year in
2001, died while trying to rescue others at the World Trade Center on Tuesday,
September 11, 2001. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, October
6, 2001, 1 p.m., at St. Mary's Church, Route 208, Washingtonville, New York.
