Firefighter
Faustino Apostol, Jr.
Battalion 2
Laid to Rest on
October 6, 2001.
We
dedicate this tribute page to our father who made the supreme sacrifice on 9/11.
He will forever be remember as a brave, kind, loving, generous, devoted and in
a word, "dedicated" man. He was a loving husband, devoted father and
father in law, and most of all the world's GREATEST GRANDFATHER. He loved his
fdny brothers so much they were his second family. I can only say today, how much
we miss him. He was my father in law and my friend. "You could always count
on Faust". Every major step Justin and I have taken, Faust was always there.
Even when it came time for our son to be born, he was there! I have vivid memories
of him walking into the delivery room at the hospital at 2:30AM just to greet
his new grandson, and this was after a tour at the firehouse but there he was
patiently waiting. I am only 33 years old, but I have never, ever meet anyone
like Faust. What he gave to his family, friends and co-workers can never and will
never be replaced. We love you Fa! ust. You are forever in our hearts and minds.
Love, your daughter in law and friend, DEBI
