Advocates for a 9-11 Fallen Heroes Memorial (A 9-11) will hold
a general meeting on: Purpose of meeting: To distribute new posters and pre-messaged postcards addressed to Gov. Pataki, to discuss strategies and updates, and to get supporters more involved in helping. A 9-11's sole objective is as follows: That the 343 firefighters, 37 police officers of the PAPD and the 23 police officers of the NYPD, and all other uniformed rescue workers killed on 9-11, during rescue operations at the World Trade Center, be appropriately remembered, as part of the greater memorial. We ask that their names, along with rank, badge number and unit, be listed alphabetically, by department, just as they would want it. And that the memorial includes language that spells out clearly their sacrifice. Bring

Major Deegan northbound: Get off at the McLean Avenue exit, go
straight to McLean take a right on McLean Ave. Go straight 7 or
8 blocks to Aisling Center on left. Bronx River Pkwy Northbound: Get off at the E.233rd St exit. Make a left at the stop sign. go to the traffic light, make a left. Once you go over the bridge, continue going straight, and you'll be on McLean Ave. Go another 3 or 4 blocks to the Aisling Irish Center on your right. Bronx River Pkwy southbound: Get off at the E.233rd St exit. make a right at the stop sign. Go to the traffic light, make a left.
