As a firefighter you responded on the dark September day You gave so much in those towers trying many lives to save. You lost your life protecting when those towers fell away. Now your families and your friend’s lives will never be the same. The world needs to learn about your brave and courageous name. You had a dream for the major leagues of becoming a great pitcher. You landed a couple tryouts going further than most others. You didn’t make the teams but it didn’t really matter, You fulfilled another boyhood dream to become a firefighter. You would have celebrated 20 years with the New York fire department. You always told your mom that you could just retire, But then you said,” I love my job!” a job that you desired. Firefighters with children had the holidays off, You always worked for them; you were a “Bro” that was just tops. You had so many passions that you always loved. You loved cycling and running on the boardwalk this is true. You were a trivia buff and a caricaturist too. Being a bachelor you didn’t mind cooking up your own food. Your family and friends will keep your memory alive, You will live in all their hearts and deep with in their minds. You are with the bravest shining bright from up above You’re their guardian angel hero keeping watch on those you love.
