McGovern Age 49 Battalion Chief-Battalion 2 WTC-9-11 You were one of the first battalions to reach those burning towers. You were seen by fellow firefighters in tower one, the 30th floor. You would never walk away leaving people there to die, Everyone knows you would not leave a single soul inside. You wouldn’t leave till everyone got safely out in time. You were in the towers saving lives when they came crashing down. Your families’ lives are changed and will never be the same. The world will know of your courageous and brave name. Your beloved wife Mary, misses your laughter and your love. She still expects to see you come bursting in the door. Your daughter Katie 11 was your light of life for sure. You were her best friend and idol her hero evermore. You took her to her swim meets you always were right there. Your grown son John misses and loves his father very dear. Your mother Julia keeps your love and memory so near. Kathleen and Marilyn miss you their dear brother it is clear. Your brothers John and Patrick will hold you close throughout their years. Your family and your friends know your looking down from up above Your in the twinkle of the stars you are in the midst of them all. You’re their guardian angel hero forever watching them in love.
