Michael
Lynch Memorial Game Is a Winner
The
Lions played their hardest to give Michael's family something
to remember when the final whistle blew. The pre-game started
with the singing of God Bless America by Nikki Blonsky. Michael's
wife, sons, parents, sister, nieces, newphews and FDNY 4 Truck
members attended the game to cheer the Lions to a win. After the
game the Lions were presented with a commorative FDNY 9-11 Maltese
cross by Michael's wife and sons. The photo below is the Lions
with bottom row of Danny (his nephew), Coach Gary, Andrew (Godson
and Nephew), Coach Jim, his wife, Denise with sons, Jack and Michael.
The Lions would like to extend their support to remember the resident,
sports fanatic and uncle to one of their own by playing Game 4
of each spring in memory of Michael Lynch of FDNY 4 Truck. How
appropriate that the Lion's won with a score of 4-2. Let us never
forget September 11, 2001.
