The
Langone Brothers Educational Fund
Since
the tragedy of September 11, 2001, two lifetime members of the
Roslyn community, and volunteers with the Roslyn Rescue Fire Company,
remain missing. That morning, Tommy and Peter Langone were serving
in their jobs -- Tommy with Emergency Service Unit Truck 10 of
the NYPD and Peter with Squad 252 of FDNY. For the last 20 years,
their contributions to the Roslyn community as firefighters with
the Roslyn Rescue Fire Company are incomputable, and the loss
is being deeply felt. Monies provided to this fund will go directly
and exclusively to support the educational needs of the children
of these two men. In lieu of cash, checks may be made payable
to “The Langone Brothers Educational Fund” and may be sent to
