LAKE—William, D. (Billy). 20 year veteran of F.D.N.Y.
Highly decorated senior member of Rescue 2. Life long resident
of Bay Ridge. Suddenly on September 11, 2001. Beloved son of William
and Helen (nee Laffey). Loving and devoted father of Kyler. Billy
is survived by his sister Ruth and brothers Robert, Brian (Capt.
F.D.N.Y) and their spouses, also his faithful cat Boxy. Celebration
of Life at St. Patrick's Auditorium Friday October 12, 2001, 6
P.M.-9 P.M. Memorial Mass on Saturday, October 13, 2001 10 A.M.
St. Patrick's Church, 95th Street & 5th Ave. Bklyn. In lieu of
flowers donations may be sent to New York Firefighters Burn Center,
