Timothy
Haskell, 34, a New York City firefighter and Seaford resident, was remembered
by his family as a high-spirited man who embraced action both on his job with
Rescue Squad 18 and off-duty on his fast boat and powerful motorcycle.
His
family also recalled the delight with which he toured schools to teach fire
safety, with his trained dalmatian, Blaze, at his side.

S., tragically on September 11, 2001 of Seaford. NYC Fireman,
Squad 18. Beloved son of Maureen and the late Thomas T. Sr. (NYCFD
Ret.). Dear brother of Thomas T. Jr., Battalion Chief (missing)
and his wife Barbara, Kenneth (NYCFD) and his wife Genene, Kevin,
Dawn Carbone and her husband Mario. Loving companion of Gabriele
Sanders. Cherished grandson of Olive Robbert. Also survived by
his nieces and nephews: Anthony, Meaghan, Courtney, Erin, Tara,
Kenny, Ryan and many aunts and uncles. Reposing at the Charles
G. Schmitt Funeral Home Inc., 3863 Merrick Rd., Seaford (2 traffic
lights east of Rt 135). Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10AM
at St. William the Abbott RC Church. Interment: Breslau Cemetery,
Lindenhurst. Visitation today and Tuesday 2-4, 7-9PM. Donations
