Firefighter Got His Wish In Life

James Giberson was a sports fan who loved his job as a firefighter, but
spending time with his daughters, 12-year-old Erika, 11-year-old Kari and
9-year old Sara, made him happiest.

Giberson, 43, always wanted three daughters, and he never took it for granted
that he got his wish. The sportsman often missed golf or fishing outings with
buddies to spend the day swimming with his girls or cheering them on at a
meet.

Giberson enjoyed gardening and was a great cook, according to his wife,
Susan. His daughters loved his chicken parmagiana, but chicken cordon bleu
was his specialty.

The Staten Island resident observed his 20th anniversary with Ladder 35 in
Manhattan on Sept. 5. He was last seen entering Tower 2 shortly before it
collapsed.
