On January 27th 1995, a group of Yarmouth firefighters went on a cruise on carnival cruise lines where we met a group of FDNY firefighters. One of those firefighters was Chuck Mendez from E-16/L-7.
The two groups became quick and close friends. We were there when Chuck met his wife, when he was married and unfortunately the day after he was killed in the line of duty with the rest of his company on September 11th, 2001. Report from Liberty Street-2

The names of the others in that company killed that horrible day are: Capt Vernon Richards, FF George Cain, FF Robert Foti, FF Vincent Princiotta, FF Richard T Muldowney Jr.

We were asked by the remaining men of his firehouse to create a T-shirt to sell for a fundraiser for the company. We have been and will continue to do that.
