Jeffrey Matthew Palazzo was a firefighter with a fondness for the outdoors. He counted skiing, scubadiving and fishing among his pleasures. He also liked to work around the house fixing things.“He was tremendously sincere,” said firefighter John Drury. “He was not only passionate abouthis work as a rescue firefighter, but was always quick to tell you a caring story about hisown family.” Palazzo was married and had two daughters. --The Associated Press
