Michael
Clarke, 27, was a 3 1/2-year veteran of the New York City Fire
Department. Clarke had requested a transfer to the bustling
Ladder Company 2 in Midtown Manhattan and was on a 24-hour shift
running through the morning of Sept. 11. A passionate New York
Rangers fan, Clarke loved fishing, hunting and playing hockey
for his fire department squad. The Staten Island resident is
survived by his father, John, brother James, nephew Jimmy, niece
Tiffany, sister-in-law Kymberli Clarke and girlfriend Lori Adler.
